I pay my deepest respect to the Jarowair, Giabal, and Western Wakka Wakka peoples as the traditional custodians of the land on which New Leaf is situated, and I recognise their continuing connection to land, water and culture. I pay respect to Elders past, present and future. I acknowledge the stories, traditions and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and commit to fostering a culture of learning from and working with First Nations peoples in the name of justice.
